Job Title: Trainee Parts Advisor

The Day to Day Role :

  • Assist in all areas of parts administration
  • Ensure accurate management and recording of incoming and outgoing stock on our dealer system
  • Assist with pre- picking parts in advance of customer appointments
  • Loading and unloading of the parts delivery van and transporting parts to required locations when necessary
  • Dealing with trade customers , retail customers and our internal service department throughout the day
  • Participating in stock checks and ensuring parts department is well prepared in advance of these
  • Participating in In House and Brand training programmes when required

Role requirements :

  • Be organised and efficient with a desire to learn and upskill
  • Possess good time management ability in a busy and fast paced environment
  • Competent PC Skills
  • Have the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Hold a full clean drivers license
  • Training is provided and no experience is necessary.

Job Title : Senior Service Advisor

The Day-To-Day Role:

  • Booking and scheduling customer vehicle service bookings via phone, e mail , Skoda/ VW Digital system and in person .
  • Meet and greet customers in the showroom in a friendly, efficient manner
  • Ensure all customer service details and requirements are accurately captured on our database including adherence to GDPR guidelines
  • Check for outstanding campaigns on all vehicles at time of booking
  • Plan customers mode of transport at time of booking on service diary and ensure all courtesy cars are cleaned sanitised and fuelled in advance of collection where applicable and inspected fro damage on return
  • Job Card Preparation including creation of relevant Skoda / VW maintenance lists
  • Liase with customers and keep them informed on progress while work is being carried out
  • Price VHCs and Service cams and ensure they are forwarded to the customer and advise and gain agreement from them on additional works and costs
  • Ongoing liason with workshop , parts dept , valeting dept , service manager and other teams in the business to ensure smooth running of the workshop to avoid customer delays
  • Processing Invoices and managing work in progress on a daily basis
  • Effectively market labour hours, accessories and additional services to work towards reaching monthly and quarterly targets
  • Ensure outstanding payments are collected from the customer
  • Vehicle handover with a detailed explanation to the cusomer of the invoice and works carried out and advise of any future work which may be required
  • Advise the customer on future customer satisfaction correspondence
  • Keep up to date with brand Online and in person training

Role Requirements:

  • Be organised and efficient with a desire to learn and upskill

  • Hold strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent PC Skills
  • Have the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Hold a full clean drivers licence

Job Title : Apprentice Mechanic


Job description

Following completion of our brand new state of the art workshop , Noel Deasy (Cars) Ltd , located in Cork City are looking for first year mechanic apprentices to join our award winning Skoda and VW Aftersales team .

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in cars and technology .

This is a four year apprenticeship consisting of 7 phases and the successful candidate will receive full training both on and off the job , in conjunction with the Solas Apprenticeship Motor Mechanic Training Programme.


By the end of your training, you will be able to:

  • Carry out all vehicle service, maintenance and repair procedures
  • Diagnose faults; dismantle and reassemble the engine and its components
  • Carry out a complete engine overhaul
  • Use specialised equipment to check the operation of the lighting, steering, braking and other systems
  • Measure exhaust emissions, record the results and liaise with the customer
  • Replace various parts including timing belts and chains; clutch components; brake components; and steering and suspension components
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
  • Test electrical and electronic systems and components.


To be considered you will need:

  • Strong organisational skills with a desire to learn and upskill
  • English Fluency
  • To have successfully completed your Leaving Certificate
  • Competent PC Skills
  • An aptitude for handling equipment and tooling
  • To be a team player who has the ability to perform in a fast paced environment
  • A full clean driving licence would be an advantage
